Provides detox support at home.
A home detox and withdrawal management program provided by Options Community Services offers support for substance use patients and their families. The program is available in Surrey, Delta, Langley, and White Rock, with services offered in English and Punjabi.
Program participants will be met with a Doctor with Addictions specialty along with our Nurses, Outreach Workers and Clinical Counsellor. Following a phone call to the Intake Worker, an appointment will be scheduled in your home for the initial assessment. The addictions team will visit daily to provide medical, emotional and social support for you and your family. They will develop a care plan individually tailored for you and your family's needs. Following the detox period, you and your family can continue with our Clinical Counsellor and Outreach Worker for follow-up and on-going after-care.
To be eligible a caregiver needs to be accessible 24/7 for the first 3 days.
